If somebody asks me my hobby I would say its music, dance, reading and writing, if somebody asks me my passion its certainly my work in the field of Information Technology; well okay but if somebody asks me the secret of my energy I would definitely say its an Indian Cinema.
There is something magnificent about this planet that it keeps us intrigued. I am so voraciously obsessed about it that if somebody asks why? my answer would be its just not movies and the stars but its about their struggles, their massive hard work, the spirit of standing against all odds and evens, the situations they’ve been through and in spite of all this facing media gracefully, and maintaining the public icon. OMG!
Undoubtedly, there are other fields like STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics where I belong to) and then this business ventures where there is huge amount of collaborations happen on every day basis, however, this planet still has its own rapport!
It’s something so fascinating about it that at the end of the day no matter how hard the day was, just one movie, one shot and the motivational speeches of megastar King Khan, his absolutely inspirational journey gives the booster to million minds to keep going, and work passionately to turn our dreams into reality!
Just the presence of Deep-Veer ( Deepika- Ranveer) is enough to rejuvenate our body and soul. Not to forget KJO’s (Karan Johar) Koffee with Karan and his Fantabulous appearance, the way he wears his English on his sleeves! Simply stunning.
‘Srikanth’ the most inspiring story of visually impaired person, unbelievable vision of outstanding human being who traveled transformational journey by turning around his weakness into superpower! Beautifully played by Rajkumar Rao and directed by Shrikanth, inspires millions and makes us think how has he made it? were things easy for him? definitely not! what has made him to stand out in such a way that many of us with the beautiful eyes can’t even think!
Well, not in my case though as I don’t have these beautiful eyes! I am a myopic by left eye and my right eye has a huge power of (-)6!, so it’s always been a mirror for me which I gladly accept and wear it as if its my beauty who always keeps me grounded, who never let me pulls anyone down and encourages others to be good and do good!
This 23-year-old entrepreneur faced rejection from IIT because of his disability, but fate had different plans for this brilliant individual; he became the first visually impaired foreign student to gain admission to MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). His drive and commitment never wavered, leading to his acceptance at one of the world’s most esteemed institutions. While his tuition was fully covered, he opted for loans to meet other expenses.
After completing his graduation, Srikanth Bolla started a small enterprise in the Hyderabad Industrial Area. About two years later, he met an investor named Ravi Mantha, who was greatly impressed by Bolla’s clear vision for the company’s future, leading him to offer the essential funding for its expansion. Other significant investors include Srini Raju from Peepul Capital, Satish Reddy of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Kiran Grandhi from GMR Group, nil Chalamalasetty of Greenko, Arun Alagappan from TI Cycles, and S.P. Reddy of SLN Terminus.
Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam asks ‘Srikanth’ to be a ‘Bollant’ meaning ‘Be Good and Do Good’, a visionary gave a vision to a person who can’t see but can for-see!
BOLLANT produces eco-friendly disposable products and packaging solutions for manufacturers out of the natural leaf and recycled paper. In the Business Excellence Award ‘Srikanth’ mentions that ‘Don’t make me your inspiration, if you want to make an inspiration make Devika, Ravi and Swathi, and create more such Devikas, Ravis, Swathis. These people are real inspiration’: (Well, who haven’t watched it yet for them, these are the people who exceptionally stood behind Shrikanth, and encourage him to bring his ideas and dreams Into reality.)
Very realistic and humble opinion. We indeed need such people in this competitive world who will uplift people like ‘Srikanth’. His life would have been completely different if these people would have not met in his journey.
Moreover, his own passion of survival of fittest, and the fire to make it larger than life brought a positive change in the society, by empowering differently abled people, and has created the history.
When he asks in his speech that “Why you people target us when you say ‘Pyar me andha ho gaya hai’ (he is blinded by love)”, he actually asks that rather than being such blinded by love and turning into Romeo, Juliet etc. be an inspiration to those who really needs you, don’t just remain blind in love but bring a visionary change in the lives of your loved ones.
When we look around us in today’s fastest booming industries there are very rare opportunities for these differently abled people who might have such unseen qualities which would help them bring change in their lives. But unfortunately, sometimes we come across people who rather than focusing on intellectuals and positivity, they overpower the society and pull them down.
There is a strange hidden happiness that such people get when they bring this negativity around. Certainly, for them his outstanding journey is a sheer inspiration.
One curiosity about the role that Rajkumar Rao has played. What a brilliant performance! He has looked like a real visually impaired person! How? His eyes were completely different in a movie than the actual ones! Anyway yet to research about his makeup, though, a work and a role he played is simply amazing and deserves best performance award! Thank you Mr. Tushar Hirnandani for creating such epic biography which is tremendously inspiring for everyone. Once again, Jeo Bollywood!
